PECK SMYTH & OFF
LOVE, (1976) (CD, reissue 2011, Paper Sleeve)
Rare obscure Progressive Rock gem from Mexico, long out of print

Brand new mint & sealed.

One more obscure pearl coming from Mexico. The trio Peck Smyth & Off has a little-known story and just released an album in 1976 and disappeared from the map, reissued on CD recently.
The album Love features 8 tracks, most short, of progressive rock, with mild psychedelic influences, but far from the Latin rock and with a strong connection to the sound made in England and Europe. Well crafted instrumental and vocal in most of the melodic and symphonic time, dominated by keyboards and piano, but with nice guitar passages. The lyrics are all in English. Highlight tracks for "Love", "Massacre", "Death" and "Jenny", a really solid work. Recommended for fans of progressive rock, specially symphonic.
