Cabezas de Cera is one of the most important avant-garde groups in Mexico. It has been presented in Europe, Asia and America. His music, free of labels, is characterized by a balance between the acoustic and the electronic.
The unconventional instrumentation, the use of unique instruments created in metal, the resource of live looping and improvisation astonish the listener upon discovering an expanding duo that sounds live like an orchestra in constant self-construction that moves through rock, jazz, traditional Mexican music, improvisation and world music. What also becomes an unusual stage presence in their concerts, film music and performances.
